Chocolate Cherry Baked Oats
Chocolate Cherry Baked Oats (serves 1)
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 3/4 cup milk of your choice
- 1 teaspoon of either maple syrup, honey, or 1/2 a banana
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 1 scoop of protein powder (chocolate, vanilla or unflavoured)
- Pinch of sea salt
To top:
- Handful of whole frozen or fresh cherries (pitted)
Method
- Blend everything (apart from the cherries) together in a high-speed blender until you have a smooth batter.
- Pour the batter into a ramekin and add your cherries on top.
- Bake for 30 minutes in a 180°C oven.
Great served with plain yoghurt on top!
